Emily Coutouné is an administrative and strategic operations professional with experience spanning healthcare case management, multi-site operations, and institutional strategy. She currently serves as Director of Strategic Initiatives at the Georgia School of Orthodontics (GSO), working directly with President Christopher Lazzara to advance the institution’s strategic priorities and long-term vision. Coutouné also serves the Liaison of the Georgia School of Orthodontics Board of Trustees. Additionally, Coutouné is the Vice President of the Georgia Dental Foundation.
Since 2023, Coutouné has also served as Special Projects Manager at MountainStar Partners, where she supports cross-functional initiatives, project execution, and organizational priorities. Earlier in her career, Coutouné spent more than three years as Regional Coordinator for Mental & Behavioral Health Clinic, where she led territory expansion efforts and oversaw operations across eight office locations. Prior to that, she served as a Case Manager with St. John’s County and Duval County Child Welfare Services, supporting families as they navigated the judicial and social services systems and helping strengthen their capacity to provide safe and effective care for their children.
Coutouné holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Flagler College. Her background in healthcare operations, family services, and institutional strategy brings a broad perspective to her work supporting GSO’s leadership and long-term strategic objectives.
Coutouné is married to Pierluigi Coutouné, and together they have two daughters.
