Georgia School of Orthodontics’ Alumni, Dr. Valencia, graduated in 2023 with a Certificate in Orthodontics and Dentofacial Orthopedics and joined GSO as a faculty member in September. Dr. Valencia was born and raised in Bogota, Columbia. He completed his Bachelor’s Degree as a student athlete in soccer, majoring in Biology and minoring in Chemistry and Music. He then completed his Master’s Degree in Biomedical Science with a focus on Neuroanatomy from Barry University.
Later, he earned his Dental Medicine Degree from Tufts University, where he was awarded multiple distinctions, including the Dr. Alfred Osher Scholarship for “The Highest Personal and Work Ethics”.
Dr. Valencia continued his dental education and training at the Arthur A. Dugoni School of Dentistry a the University of the Pacific. He completed a two-year residency in the AEGD department, where he served as Chief Resident. Alongside his wife and three children, he completed his residency in Orthodontics and graduated from GSO in 2023. In his free time, Dr. Valencia enjoys spending time with his family, watching movies with his wife, and collecting books.
