Georgia School of Orthodontics Unveils State-of-the-Art Gwinnett Clinic with Grand Opening and Contest Winners Announcement

ATLANTANov. 21, 2017 /PRNewswire/ — The Georgia School of Orthodontics (GSO) will introduce its second state-of-the-art clinic with a grand opening Tuesday, Dec. 12, at 10 a.m., at 3700 Crestwood Parkway NW, Suite 180, in Duluth. The event will include a ribbon-cutting, reception, and tour of the innovative clinic and classroom, as well as the announcement of the recipients of its contest for free orthodontic care.

Continuing its pledge to provide $100,000 in complimentary orthodontic care to deserving youth in Georgia, GSO will select three children in Gwinnett County to receive complimentary orthodontic treatment at its new facility. Smiles for Gwinnett, the program providing the orthodontic care, also will award donations toward school supplies to any Gwinnett County school employee who nominates a deserving child. The three schools in Gwinnett with the most nominations will receive donations of $500 each.

To be eligible for the contest, the child must be a resident of Gwinnett County and under age 18. For additional requirements or to nominate a deserving individual, visit the GSO website at https://www.bracestoday.com.

Located in the Gwinnett Commerce Center, the new 9,000-square-foot campus expands GSO’s advanced specialty education program in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics to dentists and offers state-of-the-art orthodontic services to the community. The addition of its new location strengthens GSO’s mission to provide the Atlanta community with a team approach to exceptional orthodontic care using the latest technology at a price families can afford. Its other location is in Atlanta.

“I am excited to give the residents of our great county access to high-quality orthodontic care at a lower price point at the Georgia School of Orthodontics,” said Dr. Ricky Harrell, program director of GSO. “Every child and adult deserves to feel confident in their smile, and the new state-of-the-art clinic at GSO will make that dream obtainable for every family in our community.”

GSO celebrated another milestone recently, treating more than 1,000 metro Atlanta patients in its clinics.

“We are honored to be able to serve so many amazing children and adults from the Atlanta community,” said Dr. Deb Borden, clinical director of GSO. “Having more than 1,000 patients in treatment marks the first of many milestones we hope to achieve.”
