Georgia orthodontics school sees biggest resident class after enrollment boost OK’d

The Atlanta-based Georgia School of Orthodontics began training its largest class of residents this week — 42 students enrolled in its three-year program.

The school received approval from the Commission on Dental Accreditation to double its enrollment in August 2020, enabling it to train 108 students in orthodontics and dentofacial orthopedics, according to an Aug. 23 news release.

The school also announced plans to expand its clinical locations to accommodate more residents, staff, faculty and patients.
